Report from Rockwell Automation
XLReporter interfaces to a variety of Rockwell Automation software products.
Report from RSLinx®, FactoryTalk® Linx Gateway®, PanelView™Plus Logs, FactoryTalk® View ME Logs,
FactoryTalk® View SE data logs, FactoryTalk® Historian SE and FactoryTalk® Alarms and Events
The FactoryTalk View SE Data Agent gives FactoryTalk View SE users easy access to FT View SE live data, FT View SE data logs (ODBC, native DAT files) and FT Historian SE.
This universal connector, introduced in V14.1, does not require any additional middleware.
To enable the connector, an Agent Gateway (contact SyTech) needs to be installed on the FTView SE system (server or client). XLReporter, installed locally or across the network to the FTView SE,
uses the gateway for data access.
Produce reports directly from one or more PLCs using RSLinx or FactoryTalk Linx Gateway. The solution is low-cost, straightforward and does not involve historians or relational databases. Report current value "snapshots" or add values incrementally to your report on time or on events. Produce a wide range of reports such as a daily shift reports, monthly summary reports or equipment usage reports.
The PVP DataStore Plus logs production data into log files and stores them onto the device (or PC). XLReporter automatically (or manually) transfers the log files from multiple terminals
to a central location, partitioning the data into separate folders.
The connector to the PanelView data provides "stitching" technology to make the individual logs appear as a single data entity. It also maintains a list of tag names so that any
tag selection can be done using a tag browser. Since XLReporter treats the stitched logs like a historian, features like filtering and sorting are supported together
with calculations such as the average value for each hour of a day.
The reports are readily available for viewing, even from the PanelView terminals!
Produce reports automatically or on-demand from FactoryTalk View SE Data Logs and FactoryTalk Historian SE. Retrieve sample values and "out-of-box" metrics on performance, statistics and runtimes that have been
filtered and scaled according to your requirement. XLReporter performs the filtering if it is not supported by the server.
In addition to the standard set of metrics provided by the historian, XLReporter provides an extended set of calculations specific to industry.
Metrics are readily available without any scripting or programming. Simply select the tags of interest, the time frame and calculation e.g., average temperature over each hour of the day, and let XLReporter do the rest.
Understanding process alarms is one step towards improving your process.
Produce alarm dashboards and better understand alarm activity by setting filter and search criteria.
Add historical data to the dashboard and learn if there are correlations between process deviations and alarm behavior.
